My Favourite Kitchen Essentials from Anthropologie

My husband haaaaaates Anthropologie. Whenever I bring something home, gleefully telling him why it’s so frickin’ amazing, he tells me to never go into that store, again. Obviously, I don’t listen (because it’s not 1890) and go back again and again. It’s a store that I never seem to be able to keep myself out of even if I don’t have any money to spend; I just love looking around and touching everything. Sorry, sales associates, I’m that person. It also has things in there you didn’t know you needed…like a lipstick holder that I bought myself with a gift card. Probably the most ridiculous item that I’ve ever bought that is actually incredibly useful and turned into one of my favourites.

While I love their clothes and hardware, what I absolutely love about them is their homewares.Β Yes, it can be overpriced and yes some of the things are a little….out there in their pricing (like this most basic ass table for $3,000), but most of it is pure beautiful basic bitch GOLD.

I’m the type of person who, if I had the space, would switch out plates for fall and winter and spring and summer patterns. I absolutely adore theseΒ and wish I could convince my husband that we need to switch our boring black IKEA plates for these beauties.

Glass and bamboo? I’m in! These cuties would look adorable on your desk in your car or on the deck.

While I haven’t yet been able to convince my husband of plates with this motif, I ended up receiving this bad boy as a wedding shower gift. It looks super chic just sitting on my work table in the dining room so when I’m not using it acts as decor!

table runner anthropologie

I used to think table runners were stupid and pointless, but somewhere around the age of 27 I started to think a little differently. Now, I do switch out my table runners as the seasons’ change (much easier to store a strip of fabric than a whole set of plates). This macrame one from Anthropologie is hella adorable and on trend.

flatware anthropologie

While we have flatware that is has worked perfectly for years, I’m hoping to upgrade to something this chic and gorgeous. But, it probably won’t happen for years…you never realize how annoying it is to use a certain type of knife and fork until you do it every day. First world problems to the max over here.

napkins anthropologie

Why do napkins have to be boring? I love Anthropologie because everything they do is fun! These napkins are beyond adorable (….adorable is the official adjective for Anthropologie).

For all you farmhouse chic lovers out there, this super cute milk bottle is really hiding measuring cups! I love functional decor.

An ice cream scoop where the handle is a fox?! Oh, hell, yes.

container anthropologie

These containers are one of my favourite things I’ve ever bought from Anthropologie. They’re super cute, so they look great stacked up in your cupboard or fridge, and keep their seal impossibly well. Like, sometimes it’s a struggle to open them. That’s how well their lids stay on.

cheese board anthro

Because if you don’t have a cheese board, are you even an adult?
